Hi, I'm Shelby—a lifelong mover, mom of two, and outdoor lover. I built Studio Shelby with a simple mission: to create a welcoming, down-to-earth Pilates space that helps people feel strong, capable, and connected in their bodies and their lives.
With a background in skiing and SCUBA instruction, I've seen firsthand how strength and mobility make all the difference in how we show up for the things we love. My approach is simple: meet your body where it is, move with intention, and build a foundation that supports everything you do, from daily routines to mountain trails.
I'm a nationally certified Pilates teacher (NCPT) with comprehensive training through Polestar Pilates, where I studied under physical therapists and learned to blend classical technique with modern movement science. I love continuing to learn and stay curious about how bodies move, heal, and adapt —so you benefit from both time-tested methods and current research.
I bring a deep understanding of how the body adapts to life's demands and how mindful strength supports each season of movement. Whether you're navigating postpartum recovery, managing an active career, or noticing your body changing with age, I'll help you build strength that feels sustainable, movement that feels free, and confidence that carries into everyday life.
